Winifred "Winnie" Mae House, 94, of Tunk Creek Road, Riverside, WA, (formally of Phoenix, NY), passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2020, at the home of her daughter Donna. Born in Cicero, NY on March 15, 1926, to her late parents, Helen Louise (Lints) and Howard K. Clark, she was a graduate of Central Square High School “Class of 1943”. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother. She worked for many years at Houses Superette in Cicero, and then for Keybank in Liverpool were she retired, after which she continued to work at her daughter Wendy and son-in-law at Brzostek’s Auction Services in Phoenix, NY. She was a member of Phoenix United Methodist Church, and enjoyed travelling, bowling, shopping, gardening and making crafts, especially Cross-Stitch pictures for many of her family.

Winnie was predeceased by her loving husband, Glenn Weldon House who died in 2012, her stepfather Ormonde G. Goettel Sr., and brothers Robert E. Clark and Ormonde Goettel Jr.

Surviving are her four children, Donna M. (Julius) Steiger of Riverside, WA, Susan J. (Gary) Allshouse of Hanover, PA, and Wendy A. (Bernie) Brzostek and Chris A. (Mary) House, all of Baldwinsville; 11 grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; a brother, Jack Geottel of Cleveland, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no calling hours. A private burial will be held at Hillside Memorial Cemetery, Central Square. Arrangements are in care of Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, Phoenix, NY and Precht Harrison Nearents Chapel, Okanogan, WA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Phoenix United Methodist Church, 49 Jefferson Street, Phoenix, NY 13135.
