Obituary for William G. "Bill" Tracy

William G. “Bill” Tracy, 72, affectionately known as Wacky Bill, of Holbrook’s Motel, Bankrupt Road, Phoenix, NY, passed away on Thursday Jan. 5, 2012.William G. ‘Bill’ Tracy He was born in Batavia, NY, to his parents, the late Margaret (Rogers) and James Tracy. He was a former reservist in the National Guard. Bill was a 30-year employee of Owens Illinois Co., Volney. He was predeceased by his brothers, James and John Tracy; his sister and brother-in-law, Gean and Al Orisni. Surviving are a brother and two sisters, Richard (Frances) Tracy, Marjorie Goodwin and Judy D’ Anglo all of Batavia; and several nieces and nephews; and his loving extended family at R F H’ S Hide-A-Way, restaurant, Phoenix..


Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Allanson- Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.


Services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Allanson- Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, with the Rev. Richard S. Yost officiating.


Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, County Route 57, Clay.
