Obituary for Timothy Dight Cook
Timothy Dight Cook, 53, of Tampa, FL, passed away on Saturday January 7, 2012 at Life Path Hospice. Born on March 8, 1958, the son of Patricia (Dight) Cook Rill and the late John J. Cook (1957). A graduate of P.C.S., class of 1976, Phoenix, NY. He earned a B. S. degree in Economics, SUNY Potsdam, in 1980. Tim spent 17 years at Newfane Lumber Co., Lockport, later management positions elswhere. Besides his father, he is also predeceased by his step-father, Paul W. Rill in 2011.
Surviving are his loving wife of 25 years, Sharon; a daughter, Kelsey Patricia; a step-daughter, Brittany Ernst; two step-sons, William Ernst, and Jeffrey Killian; five step-grandchildren; his mother, Patricia C. Rill of Baldwinsville; a brother, Jeffrey (Julie) Cook of RI; two sisters, Pamela C. Sivers of Baldwinsville, and Prescilla C. (Tony) Bucci of Camillus; a half sister, Patricia (Tricia) (Rill) Jandrew (Richard) of AZ; a step-brother, Douglas B. Rill (Georgianne) of AZ; a step-sister, Geri Borg (Stephen) of AZ; many nieces, and nephews; a step-aunt, Rebecca Rill Walter (Richard) of Mapleview.
Services Saturday April 21, 2012 at 3 pm in St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, 902 Vine St., Liverpool, NY 13088, with the Rev. Carrie Schoefield-Broadbent officiating. A calling hour from 2 to 3 p.m. in the church prior to the service. Burial in Phoenix Rural Cemetery, 126 Chestnut St.. In lieu of flowers, donations to: St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, or the American Cancer Society. Notifications of donations to Patricia C. Rill. Arrangements by Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY 13135.
