Sonja Ann “Nee” (Robinson) Bradshaw, 76,
of Alexandria Bay, NY, passed away on Monday
October 20, 2014, in her home, surrounded by
loved ones after a long battle with cancer.
Her parents Joseph and Marcella (Graves)
Robinson predeceased her. She is survived
by her devoted husband of 58 years, George L.
Bradshaw; two loving children, George M.
Bradshaw of Hannibal, and Deborah Gymarthy of
Ft. Myers, FL; three siblings, Sandra Camardell of
N. Syracuse, Joseph Robinson of Syracuse, and
Melanie Checksfield of Collingswood, NJ; many
devoted brothers-in-law; and sisters-in-law;
nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Sonja was born in Florence, NY on January 10,
1938. She attended St. John the Baptist School,
Syracuse. Employed by General Motors Corp.,
Syracuse. Sonja and George operated a motel
business in Alexandria Bay, and was their summer
residence. Winters, they traveled to their home in
Daytona Beach, FL.
Sonja was a devoted, generous, loving relative
and friend to all who met her. She loved traveling
with her husband and beloved dog, Boomer.

A memorial service will be held at R F H Hide-a-Way
restaurant, 1058 County Rt., Phoenix, NY, on
Saturday, October 25 at 12 noon, with the Rev.
D. Yost, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Clay.
A memorial luncheon will follow Sonja’s service.
