Robert J. White, 81, of Phoenix, NY passed away on Monday February 16, 2015

in Oswego Hospital. Born in Scranton, PA on Nov. 11, 1933 to his late parents,

Ruth (Hobbs) and Robert White. He was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School, class of 1951.


Bob was a veteran of the U. S. Army from 1956 to 1958; a U. S. A. F. veteran

from 1961 to 1962. He was a former member of the CNY Bluegrass Assoc.,

Syracuse; and the Local 195 Roofer’s Union, Syracuse.


Predeceased by his loving wife of 53 years, Sally Ann (Haskins) White on

April 2, 2012.


Surviving are his two sons, Robert J. (Debra) White of Warsaw, IN, and Kevin

M. White (Wendy Smith) of Phoenix, NY; his five grandchildren; his one great-

granddaughter; his two sisters, Betty M. White of Scranton, PA, and Lydia H.

Sheehan of Fairview, TX; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.


Services are on Saturday May 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Word of Life Assembly of God Church, 12 East Oneida Street, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.

Senior Pastor Randy S. Czyz will officiate the services. Military honors will be

offered by Phoenix Memorial Post 5540, VFW honor squad.
