Robert James “Rob” Waldron, 65, of Phoenix, NY passed
away peacefully at home on Thursday June 27, 2019. Born
to his late parents Isabel (Munger) and Everett Waldron on
Sept. 12, 1953. Rob was a graduate of J. C. Birdlebough
High School, class of 1971. Rob had an exceptional arm
for pitching baseballs. He was a star pitcher for the P. C. S.
Varsity Baseball team and receiving MVP award for the
1970 season. Rob continued playing through the 1971 season
and receiving awards for his skills.
In recent years, Rob worked as a crew member for the town
of Schroeppel Highway Dept. for many years. An avid sportsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
Rob loved building things. He figured out the best method
for completing any task and seeing it through to completion.
Surviving are his loving wife of 42 years Kathleen A. Waldron;
his daughters Kelly Miller of W. Monroe, and Kristin McNamara;
one son Richard Waldron ( Katelyn Smith) of Phoenix; on
sister JoAnne (John) Mattice of Pointblank, TX; eight grand
children Tim, Tyler, Desiree, Monica, Danny, Justin, Kylee,
and Aiden; nieces and nephews; many friends.
A celebration of life event will be planned for a later date.
