Obituary for Robert Thomas "Bob" Unger

Robert Thomas Unger, 78, of Pennellville, passed away at Oswego Hospital, on Thursday January 12, 2023. He was born in Syracuse, NY to his late parents, Irene (Witkus) and Rudy Unger on November 7, 1944. Bob was a graduate of the North High School, on the North side of Syracuse.
Bob lived most of his life on Pleasant Lake starting with his parent's camp and later, his own home. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing and sailing his Sunfish sailboat on the lake. He loved restoring antique and classic cars, maintaining his home and relaxing with a beverage or two with family while enjoying the view of the lake.

Prior to his retirement he owned Unger and Wilhelm Body Shop and Eliminator Trailers in Syracuse, NY.

Bob was predeceased by his sisters Sally Clark and Carol Becker. Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Dorothy Ann (Gilbert) Unger; his daughters Lori (Gary) Mullen, and Wendy Tulowiecki; three grandchildren Devinee Guereschi, Zachary Tulowiecki and Nicole Tulowiecki; several nieces & nephews.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held at the convenience of his family.
