Robert Shafer, Jr., 57, former Phoenix, NY resident, died at home in Osceola, NY on Thursday July 11, 2013.
Born in Syracuse, NY to his late parents, Dorothy Ann (Sanford) Parry; and Robert Shafer, Sr., on April 8, 1956.
He attended Phoenix Central Schools, and furthered his education. Bob became a well driller for Cato Well Drilling Co., Weedsport. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Larry J. Clark.
Surviving are his six children, Jalene Shafer, Robert Shafer, III, Gretchen Shafer, Eric Shafer, Seth Shafer, and Nick Shafer; one grand daughter, Hana; three sisters, Edie Harrington, Terry Bick, and Diane Soutar; aunts; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
