Ramona "Midge" Foran September 18, 2019 Ramona J. Foran, 91, known affectionately as "Midge" to friends and family, passed away on Wednesday at her home. Midge was born and raised in Phoenix, NY where she chose to stay and raise her family. She was proud of her four children after being raised as an only child herself. Midge was a lifelong member of First Congregational Church of Phoenix where she served as Trustee, and sang in the choir for 25 years. She enjoyed her time at her camp in Panther Lake where she could often be found reading a book or playing a game with her family. Midge was also a skilled seamstress who loved to make clothes and outfits for her friends and family. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald J. Foran, in 2010; and granddaughter, Laura Grace Bibko, in 1997.
She is survived by her children, Michael (Christine) Foran, Maureen (Ozzie) Mocete, Melinda (Bill) Bibko and Mark (Jennifer) Foran; Linda (Gary) Grenier; grandchildren, Patrick (Erin) Foran, Emily (Greg) Mocete-Walker, Patrick, Maggie Mocete, Michael (Lauren) Bibko, Valentina Bibko, Julia Bibko, Aaron, Hayley and Nicholas Foran; Ryan Grenier; and great-granddaughter, Adia Mocete Walker.
Services will be private. She will be laid to rest in the Phoenix Rural Cemetery, Phoenix, NY.
