Phyllis Marie Caines, 83, of Granby, passed away

on Monday December 2, 2013 at Crouse Hospital,

Syracuse, after a sudden illness. Born in Phoenix,

NY, to her late parents, Marion Ruth (Barse) and

William John Renfrew on November 10, 1930. She

was a graduate of Phoenix High School, class of 1948,

and continued her education to learn accounting.


Phyllis was a bookkeeper and income tax preparer,

self employed for many years. She was predeceased

by her husband, Ernest G. Caines on July 6, 2000; a

brother, William H. Renfrew on Dec. 17, 1986; a sister,

Shirley J. Mohat on Oct. 21, 2012.


Surviving are her four brothers and their wives, Robert

and Pat Renfrew, Neal and Betty Renfrew, Gordon and

Anna Renfrew, and Ernest and Debbie Renfrew; a sister-

in-law, Phyllis Renfrew; several nieces, nephews, and

cousins.
