Phena M. Pickard, 84, of Pennellville, passed away at her home on Friday February 1, 2013. Born to her late parents, Lula (Shaver) and Maturin Hutchinson on July 9, 1928 in the town of Orwell, NY. A graduate of Altmar High School. Phena was a machine and packer operator for Sealright Co., Inc., Fulton, NY, now Huhtamaki, Inc.. She was a member of the Phoenix Memorial Post 5540, VFW, auxiliary. Phena was predeceased by her husband, Bernard Lee Pickard on February 6, 2007; her two sisters, Charlotte E. Stevens, and Ethel L. Staring. Surviving are her many nieces and nephews; several grand-nieces and nephews. Services are Wednesday February 6, at 2 p.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY 13135. Spring burial in Pine Plains Cemetery, 8686 Henry Clay Blvd., Clay, NY 13041. Calling hours are from noon to 2 p.m. the same day in the funeral home, prior to the service.
