Norma J. Burton, 90, of Pennellville, NY, passed away on Tuesday January 10, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, Syracuse, NY.
Born in Fulton, NY on October 27, 1926 to her late
parents, Gladys (Churchill) Smith and Ernest William Smith. Norma married Donald in 1948 and had three children. She was a loving wife and mother of her kids. Predeceased by her husband of nearly 59 years, Donald W. Burton on Sept. 20, 2007; her daughter-in-law, Sheila Burton in 2015.
Surviving are her children, Brenda (James) Callen of Phoenix, William Burton of Interlachen, FL; and Linda (Edward) Mason of Pennellville; 5 grandchildren Tammy Mantor, Nicole (Rick) Mason, Edward (Heidi) Mason, Jr., Erny (Mary) Mason, and Eric (Audrey) Mason; 9 great-grandchildren; cousins; and her canine Haylee.
Calling hours are on Friday from 3 to 5 p.m. with a 5 p.m. funeral service all in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY 13135
