Myron E. White, 94, of Fulton, passed away at Morningstar
Care Center, Oswego, NY on May 24, 2018. Born in Fulton, NY
on Sept. 21, 1923. A graduate of Phoenix High School, where
he played the Sousaphone instrument in the band.
Myron was a highway supervising foreman for Oswego County
Highway Dept.; worked for the town of Granby and also was
a highway Road Commissioner.
Myron served in many capacities for many organizations, a
hard worker as he provided for and loved his family dearly.
In his early years, he hauled tobacco, coal, and milk. He was
a Sunday school teacher at Little Utica United Methodist
Church for 23 years; a life member of the Cody Vol. Fire Dept., Granby; worked in the Jacksonville Cemetery for many years;
enjoyed being outdoors, was an avid gardner and loved
flowers.
Predeceased by his parents, Myrtis (Cook) and Alfred White;
his daughter Lois Torrez; his grandsons Jerry Hamilton and
Brian Dunbar.
Surviving are his loving wife of nearly 74 years, Margaret A. (Brown) White; his
children Constance Virginia, June (Cork) Sanderson, James (Freida) White, Nancy (Jerry) Hamilton,
Cathy White, Ellen (David) Wilson; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services only are on Tuesday May 29, 2018 at
11 a.m. in Jacksonville Cemetery, 9250 Fenner Rd., town of Lysander with the Rev. Vivian Summerville officiating.
