Devoted father and grandfather.
Michael R. Ashby, 62, of Pennellville, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 14, 2022. Michael was born in
Fulton, NY on April 13, 1960 to the late Alfred and Joan Ashby. Michael’s greatest joys in life came from
one of 2 things – his family (especially his grandchildren) and being on his Harley. You could always find
Michael surrounded by friends and loved ones, usually offering assistance or “words of Mike Ashby
wisdom”. He had a ferocious love for family and his greatest gift to them was his presence. Mike will be
missed by so many and will be remembered for his constant acts of kindness, selflessness, and love.
Michael is survived by his children, Erin (Wayne) Jones, and Courtney (Craig) Stoianoff; his grandchildren
Marissa Baker and Sutton and Silas Stoianoff. Brothers Alfred (Rosie) and Billy (Danielle) Ashby; and
Sisters Cheryl (Mike) Ray and Donna (Kevin) Lamson; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 18 from 2pm – 5pm at Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral
