Maudie M. (Spady) Jacobs, 74, of Phoenix, NY,

passed from this life, to life eternal on Saturday

July 5, 2014 after a long illness.

Born in Northhampton, VA to her late parents,

Maudie M.(Whitman) and William T. Spady on

April 6, 1940.

She graduated Northhampton High School, class

of 1958. Maudie was a 23 year employee of Carrier

Corp., Syracuse, retiring in 2000. A member of

Carrier Retirees Assoc..

Predeceased by her son, Gregory James Jacobs on

May 13, 1986; and brothers and sisters.

She leaves one surviving son, George Robert Jacobs,

Jr.; very dearest friends Ron & Mary Smith of Phoenix,

and Lori & Rick Matot of Phoenix; one sister, Ruth Gladys (William) Smith

of Richmond, VA; many nieces, nephews,

and cousins.

Calling hours are on Wednesday July 9, from 1 to 3 p.m.

at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, followed

by a 3 p.m. funeral service, at 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY.
