Mary Grace Ranieri, 87, of Baldwinsville, passed away on Saturday Oct. 8, 2016.

Born in Fulton, NY to her late parents, Mary (Amico) and Richard Firenze on

Oct. 3, 1929.

Mary lived in the town of Volney for many years. She served as an auxiliary

member of the Volney Fire Dept. for the time she resided there. In 1994 Mary

moved to Canandaigua for a few years before moving back to this area and

settling in Baldwinsville.Mary is predeceased by her husband John P. Ranieri on Sept. 18, 1994; a daughter Jean Ann Ranieri on Dec. 23, 1974; and several brothers and sisters.


Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Maria E. and Ed Calkins of Baldwinsville;

her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas J. and Roxanne Ranieri of Fulton; five

grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; and one

step great-great grandchild; her brother Sam Firenze of Annapolis, MD; serveral

nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her friends.


Calling hours are on Monday Oct. 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Allanson-Glanville-

Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY 13135. Services are on

Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. John P. Finnegan

officiating. Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton, New York 13069.
