Obituary for Mary Lou Moulton (Falkel)

Mary Lou Moulton
November 21, 2020

Mary Lou Moulton, age 75, passed away at her home in Central Square, on November 21, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse to the late Mary Alice and Frank Falkel. She started her own marketing company Toscano Sales Promotions, which did all the store demos for the P&C grocery stores in New York state, the Riverside stores in Pennsylvania, and the Big Bear stores in Ohio. She also did the store merchandising for the American Dairy Association. Many times she would hold dinners in churches and other organizations to introduce new grocery items to the public.

She was a long time Syracuse sports fan and held season tickets to Syracuse football and Basketball for many years. Even in later life she would wear Syracuse outfits to cheer them on television. Her passion was cooking and entertaining her large family. She was known for her many different pasta dishes, even though she was Irish.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Moulton; her two sons, Sam Toscano (Maricarol) and Stephen; grandson, Daniel (Brianna); granddaughter, Samantha; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Upstate Cancer Center, Dr. Bernard Poiesz, Scott Brown, and Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.

Because of Covid-19, a private family service will be held at the Phoenix Congregational Church on Saturday. There will be a celebration of her life in the spring. In lieu of flowers contribution in Mary Lou’s memory may be made to the Phoenix Congregational Church, 43 Bridge St Phoenix NY 13135.
