The Obituary of Marjorie Mae Warner

Marjorie Mae (Green) Warner of Sunnyside Nursing Center - and formerly of 21 Brandy Brook Ln., Phoenix, NY went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 3rd, at the age of 92. Marjorie (Green) married Bruce Warner on November 17, 1961. Marjorie and Bruce Warner celebrated 71 years of marriage. Marjorie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bruce Alan Warner, who passed on May 10th, 2022.

Marjorie is survived by her two sons, Douglas Warner (Wife Kathleen, and preceded in death by wife Lori), and son Brian Warner (wife Susan.) Marjorie is also survived by eight grandchildren: Brendan Warner, Leah Choate (Jacob), Evan Warner (Lauren), Brett Warner Stephanie Linn (Alex), Mark Warner (Megan), Kelly Warner, and Reed Warner (Shea). Marjorie was also blessed with eight great-grandchildren. She is survived by Elias Choate, Ada Jane Choate, Nora Warner, Margaret Warner, Levi Warner, Eric Linn, Andrew Linn, and was
proceeded by Jacob Linn.

Marjorie Warner was preceded by her parents, Otto and Rose (Shriro) Green. Marjorie was preceded by her sister, Rose Marie Bradbury, and is survived by a sister, Linda Long. Most recently, Marjorie resided in Phoenix, NY where she worked for many years as a Teacher's Aid in the Phoenix Central School District. Earlier in life, Marjorie worked in Syracuse as a bank teller supervisor. Prior to her marriage, she served as caretaker for her mother, Rose, who
succumbed to a short battle with cancer. Marjorie had a magnetic personality that attracted life-long friends everywhere she went. She was an accomplished artist, creating many hand-painted gifts and portraits. Marjorie was active in Cub Scouting. Marjorie had a deep love for all animals. She was well-known in Oneida, NY
for nursing small wild animals back to health.

Marjorie was also active in the churches she attended. Marjorie served alongside her husband, Bruce, in the Youth Ministry at Kenwood Heights Alliance Church of Oneida, NY. In addition, she was involved in various ministries at the Church of the Nazarene in Victoria, VA. Most recently Marjorie attended the Fulton Alliance Church for approximately 40 years.

Marjorie Mae Warner's "Homecoming Celebration" service is planned for 11 AM, Saturday,
January 7, 2023 at the Fulton Alliance Church, 1044 State Route 48, Fulton, NY. A brief
viewing time is available following the service. Also, immediately following the service is a
reception open to all. An interment service for immediate family will be held in the spring.
