Margot A. Panuska, 79, of Buckley Landing, North Syracuse, passed away
on Friday at VanDuyne Home and Hospital, town of Onondaga.
Born to her late parents, Aagot (Tonnesen) and William Burkle on
February 8, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY.
Margot had lived in Belaire, MD, where she enjoyed church and
visiting friends and her pets.
While living at Buckley Landing Margot enjoyed activities that were offered.
She especially enjoyed going out to restaurants, attending the NY State Fair,
Lights on the Lake, and all the holiday and birthday celebrations. Margot also
looked forward to dinning out with her family and going to Brennan’s Beach,
in the town of Parish, during the Summer season.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Panuska, Jr.; a sister Edith
Arthur; a brother-in-law, Henri Floch.
Surviving are her sister Doris Floch of Phoenix, NY; her cousin Leonard
of Staten Island; her nieces and nephews, Dean, JoAnn, Jay,
Margot (Greg), Barbara (Bonnie), Nancy (Sheila); many grand nieces and
nephews.
The family would like to express our gratitude for all the love and care
Buckley Landing personnel provided Margot. Everyone at Buckley was
supportive and helpful in everyway. A special thank you to the nursing
staff and social work department, and everyone who came into contact
with Margot. You all made her very happy.
The family will have private services.
