Obituary for Margaret Betty Brown (Smith)
M. Betty Brown, 95, of Phoenix and Pennellville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 19, 2021 with family by her side. She was born to Earl and Margaret (Padget) Smith, in Schroeppel, NY on April 5, 1926. Betty loved quilting and was an avid reader. When she wasn’t traveling the country with her late husband, she could be found at bingo or out to supper with one of her many friends. Betty loved to spend time with her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Robert G. Brown, Sr., in 2015 and son-in-law, Willy Hall.
Betty is survived by her children, Susan Hall, Patricia (Carl) Hulett, Robert G. (JoAnn) Brown, Jr., Sandra (Mark) Keith; grandchildren, Todd, Chris, Leslie, Amanda, Justin, Hope, Rob, Kris, Ashton, and Gregory; 19 great-grandchild; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call Thursday, June 24, 2021, 11 AM - 12 PM, at Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY 13135. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 PM. Burial will take place in Greenlawn Cemetery, 2932 Warners Rd., Camillus, NY 13031.
