Lloyd Matthew Beeman, 89, of Phoenix, NY, passed away after a

brief stay at the Manor at Seneca Hill, Inc. in the town of Volney

on Monday July 31, 2017. He was born to his late parents, Eva

(Dibbles) Beeman and Lloyd Beeman on October 28, 1927 in

Fulton, NY.


Lloyd served his country in the U. S. Navy, from 1945 to 1946.


He was a machinist for the Phoenix Gage Company in Phoenix,

NY for many years. Lloyd’s favorite hobby was putting together

model cars, as well as being an avid fisherman.


Lloyd was predeceased by his wife Gertrude E. (Weichmann)

Beeman who passed away on April 12, 2014.

Surviving are his children, four sons, Lloyd M. (Sharon) Beeman,

Dale Beeman, Michael L. Beeman, and Steven Beeman; three

daughters, Linda Bird, Jean (Jake) Melcahior, and Traudi (Rick)

Ashby; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-

great grandchildren.
