Lisa L. Stryker, 43, of the town of

Mexico, NY, passed away at her

on Friday Sept. 13, 2013 Born to

her parents, Linda (VanSlyke) and

William Stryker on July 16, 1970.


Lisa was a home health aide for New

Beginnings Home Care, Inc., Auburn.

She was a loving person and loved being

a mom. Lisa loved going to rock concerts,

as well as cooking and baking, and cats.


Surviving are her daughter, Danielle M.

Powell; of Mexico, NY; her son Derick W.

Powell of Mexico; her children’s dad,

Steve Powell of W. Monroe; her mother,

Linda Stryker of Fulton; her father William Stryker

her brothers, Cary Stryker of KY, Dannel Cole;

of Palermo; two grandchildren, twins

Ryan & Randy Weir; 3 neices, 1 nephew.


Calling hours are on Wednesday Sept. 18,

from noon to 2 p.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-

Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix,

NY 13135. Following the calling hours, services

will begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Ronald

Russell, Senior Pastor, officiating.


Following the funeral service the burial will be in

Pennellville Cemetery, Co. Rt. 54, Pennellville, NY

13132.
