Obituary for John Bradley Wise

John Bradley Wise, 72, of Pennellville, passed away peacefully at Francis House, Syracuse, NY on Thursday February 4, 2016. He was born to

his late parents, Josephine Wise Kulak and John Bradley Wise in

Syracuse, NY on July 26, 1943.


John was a truck driver for SST (Syracuse Specialized Transport). He was a

member of the Teamsters Local 317 Union; a member of the N. R. A.. An

avid sportsman, he loved the outdoors.


John was predeceased by his loving wife of 33 years, Marleen Ruth (Abbe)

Wise on Sept. 18, 1998; his step-father, Frank Kulak in 2000.


Surviving are his daughter, Brenda Goss; five grandchildren, Tara Pierce,

Kristen Cathell, Jacquelin Fritz, Kari Mecea, and Abbe Goss; nine great-

grandchildren; two sisters, Karen Donahue and Shelly Polge; nieces and

nephews.


Calling hours are on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-

Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY. A funeral service will

begin at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Hodge officiating. Burial Tuesday morning

at 11 a.m. in Phoenix Rural Cemetery, 126 Chestnut St., Phoenix, NY 13135.
