John G. Arquette, Sr., 62, of Jefferson St., Phoenix,
NY, passed away on Monday December 2, 2013
at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse, NY. Born to
his late parents, Noni (Casey) and Frank Arquett, Sr.
in Syracuse on December 17, 1950.
He was employed by Gardall Safe Corporation,
Syracuse for 40 years. John had been a member
of the Local 12623 United Steelworkers Union for
40 years, as well as an officer, serving as Union
President. He was a member of Victory Christian
Center Church, North Syracuse.
Besides his parents, John was predeceased by his
brother Mike Arquette, and his sister, Debra Arquette.
Surviving are his loving wife of 36 years, Margaret
“Maggie” (Krigbaum) Arquette; his children, John G.
(April) Arquette, Jr., Christian M. Arquette, and Angela
(Jerry) Mosqueda; his grandchildren, Aubrey, Kalah,
John III, Alexandra, Jerry III, and Elisa; one great-
granddaughter, Avory; his three sisters Terry Kawryga,
Frankie Bechner, Judy (Dan) Sievers; his brother,
Frank Arquette, Jr.; aunts and uncles; nieces,
nephews, and cousins.
An Honor Celebration and Native Tribute service for John
G. Arquette, Sr. was held on Thursday December 5, 2013
in the Victory Christian Center Church, with the Rev.
Terry L. Ross officiating on 137 Gertrude Street,
North Syracuse, NY 13212. The burial and committal
service followed in Phoenix Rural Cemetery, 126
Chestnut St., Phoenix, NY
Family and friends shared time together in the church
during the afternoon of December 4, 2013
