Obituary for Joanna B. Snow

Joanna Marie (Baker) Snow, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her own home after a long battle with non-hodgkin's lymphoma cancer surrounded by her family. Joanna was born on January 7, 1944, to the late Edward and Mary Jane (Meaney) Baker in Syracuse, NY. She and her two brothers, Edward and Randolph grew up together in Clay, NY. She graduated from Liverpool High School and went on to teach nursery school and worked as an LPN at St. Jos. Hosp., Syracuse. She enjoyed gardening, singing, swimming, traveling, visiting with her family & friends, and spending time with her children & grandchildren. She loved the Lord with all her heart and was not afraid to stop and pray for anyone, stranger or friend. She leaves behind her husband of 59 years, Harley Don Snow of Clay; two sons, Jeffrey Snow (Laura) of Liverpool, NY and James Snow (Andrea) of Portland, TN; 3 grandchildren, Rachel Odom, Ryan Snow, & Sarah Thompson; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A "Celebration of Life " will be on Saturday October 22, 2022 with this special event beginning at 1 to 1:45 p.m. with greeting & fellowship, seating for the 2 p.m. service in Northside Church, 7965 Oswego Road, Liverpool, NY 13090, with a reception to follow. Joanna's final resting place will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, 8686 Henry Clay Blvd., Clay, NY 13041
