Joan L. Merritt, 83, of Fulton, passed away on Saturday, after a long battle with her health. She loved dancing to country western music with her late husband, Richard “Whitey” Merritt.

She is survived by her daughters, Vicky, Shelly, Kim, and Laurie; and numerous grandchildren.
