Obituary for Janet H. Shepard
Janet H. Shepard, 58, of Homestead Ave., Phoenix, NY passed away on Monday May 20, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, Syracuse. Born to her late parents, Evelyn M. (Waldron) & John Pagliaroli, Jr., on July 31, 1954 in Syracuse, NY. A graduate of J. C. Birdlebough High School, Phoenix, class of 1972.
She was a homemaker, and a member of the Pennellville Fire Dept. Auxiliary. Janet was predeceased by her loving husband of 33 years, William Elmer Shepard on December 5, 2011; her mother Evelyn died May 17, 2009, and her father, John died on July 30, 1994; her sister, Geraldine Pagliaroli died on Feb. 2, 1999.
Surviving are her son, Robert J. Pagliaroli of Phoenix; her brother, Harold Pagliaroli of Fulton; her sisters, Ethel “Morey” Carlson of West Warwick, RI, Mary Williams of Phoenix, and Nancy Pagliaroli of Phoenix; two granddaughters, five great-granddaughters; several nieces, nephews, cousins.
There will be a calling hour on Saturday May 25, 2013 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY 13135. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Diane Bradshaw officiating. Interment will follow the ceremony in in Phoenix Rural Cemetery, 126 Chestnut St. Phoenix.
