Obituary for Grace A. Carroll
Grace A. Carroll, 96, of Frostproof, FL, passed away Thursday November 8, 2012 at the home of her children, Douglas and Barbara Carroll of Phoenix, NY.
Grace, the daughter of the late Fred and Hazel (Farnham) Ackles of Cortland, NY. She was predeceased in 2001, by her husband of 66 years, Russell E. Carroll.
She is survived by her four children, David R. Carroll of Frostproof, FL, Patricia (Wendell) Tucker and Douglas (Barbara) Carroll of Phoenix, NY, and William (Inge) Carroll of Cincinnati, OH; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great grand children; several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday November 17, 2012 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 43 Bridge St., Phoenix, NY.
Contributions in Grace’s name may be made to Phoenix Area Food Pantry, 43 Bridge St., Phoenix, NY 13135, or a favorite charity. Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
