Georgia M. Draughn, 76, of Schroeppel (Phoenix),

passed away suddenly on Sunday October 22, 2017

at her home. Born in Syracuse on Nov. 11, 1940 to

her late parents, Ruby Thelma (Green) and George

H. Simmons. Georgia was employed by Syroco Co.,

in Van Buren (Baldwinsville) for 15 years.

Georgia was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the

Jehovah’s Witnesses, Fulton Congregation; enjoyed

needle point, baking, music, and loved to play games

with family and friends on Saturday nights.

Surviving are her loving husband of 58 years, Royce M.;

her children Diana (Steve) Denslow of Lowville, Duane

Draughn of Hannibal, Royce “Daryl” (Michele) Draughn

of Smithton, IL, George (Michelle) Draughn of Hannibal,

and Owen (Nancy) Draughn of Fulton; nine grandchildren;

four great-grandchildren; one sister Leslie Orman; nieces

and nephews.


Services are on Friday October 27, at 1 p.m. in the

Kingdom Hall, at 13 County Rt. 85, Fulton, NY.
