Frank Belawicz, 93, of Phoenix, NY, passed away in Oswego, NY on Feb. 16, 2013 Born in Nanicoke, PA on Mar. 24, 1919 to his late parents, John and Mary(Vasiliavskas). A U. S. Army veteran 1939-1945, Sgt.. Predeceased by his wife of 30 years Audrey Irene (Smith) Sept. 17, 1976; two brothers; two sisters. Frank was a maintenance technician for the Metropolitan Water Board, St. Rt. 31, Clay, NY, where he had served as a union steward. Former member of Lions Club; VFW; Board of Appeals, Phoenix; Republican Party Oswego County. Surviving are his daughters, Valarie Lea Ensworth of San Diego, CA, and Deborah Ann Pratt of Sarasota, FL; one son, John J. (Luz E.) Bellis of Miami, FL; nine grandchildren; six great-grand children; several nieces and nephews. Graveside service only, Spring 2013, in Upson Corner’s Cemetery, 920 Co. Rt. 45, Town of Palermo, NY.
