Florence Loretta Thomas, 78, of Fulton, NY, passed

away on Monday October 13, 2014 at Oswego

Hospital. Born in Syracuse, to her late parents,

Cora (Fuller) and Grover Sweeting on October

20, 1935. She was a fine homemaker and a

loving mom.

Florence was predeceased by her husband,

William E. Thomas, Jr. on October 24, 1986;

her son Russell E. Thomas on May 17, 1980.

Surviving are her daughters, Donna L. Kent, and

Elizabeth Cooper; her sons, Charles E. Thomas,

and William E. Thomas, III; a brother James

Sweeting; two sisters, Martha Fedele and Harriet

Marks; sixteen grandchildren; several great-grand

children; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be on Thursday October 16,

from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., followed by a 1 p.m.

funeral service with the Rev. Terry E. Millbyer

officiating all in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan

Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY 13135.

Burial in Ira Union Cemetery, Town of Ira, NY.
