Donna M. Franczak, 75, former Phoenix, NY resident, passed away
on Sunday November 9, 2014 at Morningstar Care Center, Oswego,
NY. Born to her late parents, Clara (Carpenter) and George D.
Matteson in Hornell, NY on February 2, 1939. Donna was a
graduate of Sloan High School.
Donna was a teller for Marine Midland Bank, Buffalo, NY, retiring
in 1991. She was a member of First Congregational, UCC,
Phoenix; Order of the Eastern Star-Bethlehem Chapter # 634,
Buffalo.
Predeceased by her husband, Joseph Franczak in 1977; two sisters,
Elizabeth Stewart and June Carnes; one brother, Westley Matteson.
Surviving are her sister, Marjorie (David) Day of Pennellville; several
nieces, nephews, cousins.
Calling hours will be on Thursday Nov. 13, from 1 to 3 p.m., with a
funeral service at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Craig Wilson officiating. This
will take place in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431
Main St., Phoenix, NY.
Friday burial will occur at 11 a.m. in Ridge Lawn Cemetery, 595 Pine
Ridge Heritage Road, Buffalo, NY 14225.
