Obituary for Dolores L. Schmidtmann
Dolores L. Schmidtmann, 83, former Horseshoe Island Rd, Clay, NY, passed away on Monday June 17, 2013. Born in Amsterdam, NY to her late parents, Vivian H. (Shoecraft) and Leo K. Corsette. Dolores was a fine homemaker and also belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Moyers Corners Fire Dept., Clay. Delores loved watching her birds in their natural environment. She also enjoyed playing cards. Special times were had by her, as she spent time with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Erich C. Schmidtmann in 2002. Her survivors include her three sons, Erich L. Schmidtmann of Syracuse, Kurt A. (Laura) Schmidtman of Phoenix, NY and Terry W. (Gwen) Schmidtmann of Phoenix, NY; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, David Leo Corsette; three sisters, Jeanne Schmidtmann, Sondra Corsette, and Deborah Supple; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services only on Saturday June 22, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in Pine Plains Cemetery, 8686 Henry Clay Blvd., Clay, NY 13041, with the Rev. Diane Bradshaw officiating. Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Homes, Inc., 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY 13135 has charge of arrangements.
