Clyde Arthur Riddell, Jr., 79, of Phoenix, NY,
passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital Health
Center Syracuse, NY, on Sunday March 9, 2014.
Born to his late parents, Isabella (Kiley) and Clyde
Arthur Riddell, Sr. on July 10, 1934. A veteran, he proudly with the US Navy from 1952-1955 both
foreign and stateside.
Clyde was a machinist with Crucible Steel Co.,
Solvay.and he was employed at Crucible for over 40 years.
Predecease by his second wife Edna
(Emlaw) Riddell. Surviving are his children, Thomas Riddell, Ronald
Green, Cynthia (John) Pileski, Timothy (Gale) Riddell
Steven Riddell, Shann (Trina) Riddell; his children’s
mothers, Karen and Ruth; his step-children,
children, Cary (Joanne) Gorton, Daphne (Jim) Jock,
and Debbie (Mark) Trevett; several grandchildren;
many great-grandchildren; and great-great grand
children; two sisters, Elsie Parsons and Donna Fish;
several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and friends.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on
Wednesday March 12, in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan
Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY 13135,
Followed by the funeral service at 8:05 p.m. with the Rev.
Terry Millbyer officiating. US Navy military honors will
be part of the tribute paid Mr. Riddell and included in
the funeral service in the funeral home.
