Obituary for Clyde J. Bettis

Clyde J. Bettis, 81, of Phoenix, NY, passed

away on Thursday June 12, 2014, at home. He

was born in the town of Hannibal on Oct. 26, 1932

to his late parents, Lela (Weldon) and Ashley J.

Bettis.

Clyde was a dairy farmer for 16 years,

eventually working for the town of Lysander

Highway Dept. for 30 years.

A member of the River of Life Assembly of God,

Fulton; belonged to a horse riding club; the

Dairyman’s League; and the Lysander Vol. F. D..

Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years,

Mary Lou (Richardson) Bettis; his foster children,

David and his wife Pam Ragonese of Phoenix, AZ,

Lisa (Ragonese) Aulds of Scottsdale, AZ; a

brother Robert W. and his wife, Orlene Bettis of

Phoenix, NY; a sister, Margaret A. and her

husband Frank Santulli of Phoenix, NY; several

nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family,

with Pastor Elden K. Lathrop officiating.
