Clarence Van Skoik “Jack” Klase, 83, of Phoenix, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020, at home, with family by his side. He was born on December 29, 1936, in Phoenix, NY, to John Klase and Ethel (Van Skoik) Klase Knobloch. Clarence attended Phoenix Central Schools class of 1954. and worked at Selflock Screw Products Co. for 41 years. Upon his retirement, he worked for Sharon Chevrolet for 11 years. He enjoyed wood-working, gardening, reading, bird watching, and taking his great grand children to the park. Clarence had a great love for the Lord and enjoyed reading his Bible every morning. He is predeceased by his sister, Barbara J. Sherman and grandson Noah K. Espaniola.
Clarence is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marilyn C. (Lewis) Klase; children Terri S. Meeks, Clarence V. Klase II (Margarita) and Kimberly J. (Bryan) Leger; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
