Obituary for Charles L. Nicolella Jr.

Charles L. “Chuck” Nicolella, Jr., 70, of Fulton, (Volney) passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Rome, NY to his late parents, Theresa (Oneto) & Charles L., Sr. on March 12, 1947.

A graduate of Fordham Pharmacy School, NYC, and became an owner/ operator of 3 Rivers Pharmacy, 3 Rivers Plaza, Phoenix, and other area pharmacies, eventually retiring in Feb. 2016 from Walmart Pharmacy, Granby, after 47 years of total service. A member of St. Stephen’s Church, Phoenix; avid golfer and member of Beaver Meadows Golf Club Phoenix; he loved poker

and was good at playing the game. Predeceased by his sister Joan Lutrick in 2014.


Surviving are his loving wife of 25 years Rosina (Ruta) Nicolella; four sons, Christopher C. Nicolella, Stephen R. Heagle, Donald (Kelley)

J. Heagle, and Andrew P. Heagle; brothers and sister-in-laws; many nieces & nephews; and friends.


Calling hours are on Friday March 17, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the

Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin in Saint Stephen’s Church,

469 Main St., Phoenix, NY at 9:30 am with the Rev. Philip Brockmyre officiating.

and continue to Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery, 8668

Oswego Rd., Baldwinsville, 13027 in the town of Clay.
