Betty J. Thompson, 85, of Phoenix, NY,

passed away on Wednesday June 18, 2014.

A member of the Phoenix United Methodist

Church; past president of the Schroeppel

Historical Society; and a former member of

the Ladies Auxiliary of the Phoenix Fire Dept..

Betty was predeceased by her son, Bruce

Vernon Thompson on February 28, 2006.

Surviving are her loving husband of 66 years,

John B. Thompson; a nephew, Carl A. Dimon.

Services are at 10 a.m. on Wednesday July

2, at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral

Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY 13135.

Carl A. Dimon will officiate the services.

Interment will follow in Phoenix Rural Cemetery,

126 Chestnut St., Phoenix, NY.
