Barbara Ann Reed, 77, of Pennellville, NY passed away on Saturday. She was born to Rev. William and June Strong on Nov. 18, 1942. She graduated in 1960 from John C. Birdlebough High School, Phoenix, NY. Barbara then studied nursing in Rochester which eventually led to a career as a Medical Technician. She was a long time member of People’s Church, Fresno, CA where she sang in the choir. Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother, she enjoyed classic cars and loved pets of every kind. Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Ronald S. Reed in 2004; son, Scott Eric Reed in 1985; and great-grandson Clayton Repp in 2012.
She is survived by her companion, Ronald Lynk; children Michele “Mickie” (Michael Karastathis) Repp of San Diego, CA and Darcy Califiore of Fresno, CA; brother, Bill (Sarah) Strong of Syracuse, NY; sister, Carol (Nick) Ferreri; grandchildren, Shawn (Danielle) Repp, Shanda Ditto and Scotty Ditto; great-grandchildren, Ellie Repp, Sophie Repp, Owen Repp and Kaliyah Hubbard. Also, nieces, nephews and cousins and host of extended friends we call family.
In keeping with Barbara’s wishes there will be no services.
