Barbara Jean Neadle, 81, a longtime resident of Phoenix and Fulton areas, passed away on Friday March 29, 2013. She was born to her late parents, Frances Mason Potts and Caleb H. Potts. Barbara attended Phoenix Schools, and later became a fine homemaker.


She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick J. Neadle, Sr.; a brother, Donald Potts; three sisters, Dorothy M. Ylitalo, Vivian F. Potts, and Nancy Potts. Survivors include her son Frederick J. Neadle, Jr., and his wife, Simodosea of Syracuse; two brothers, Francis “Ralph” Potts of Central Square, Leonard James Potts of Tunnel Hill, GA; three sisters, Eleanor A. Sedner of Fulton, Wilma K. Sedner of Madison, VA, and Joyce N. Patterson of Fulton; four grandchildren, Laurence, Emily, Gillian, and Cora; four great-grandchildren.


Services are on Tuesday April 2 at 9:30 a.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, Phoenix, NY, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral mass in St. Stephen’s Church, 469 Main Street, Phoenix, NY 13135. Burial will be later in the Spring in Pennellville Cemetery, Co. Rt. 54, Pennellville. Calling hours are on Monday April 1, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home, 431 Main St..
